Today: Watch the White House Easter Egg Roll Live!

Today marks the 138th annual White House Easter Egg Roll. It’s an exciting day when more than 35,000 people from across the country come to the South Lawn to participate in the event.

The theme for this year’s Easter Egg Roll is Let’s Celebrate! As the last Easter Egg Roll of the Obama Administration, the event celebrates the contributions the Administration has made to the Easter Egg Roll, along with the First Lady’s initiatives. Since the start of the Administration, the event has been transformed to amplify Let’s Move! by incorporating new activities for kids and their families to be active and learn about healthy eating.

During the last seven years, we have welcomed over 250,000 people to the Easter Egg Roll! Check out highlights from over the years:

Just like the last seven years, activities across the South Lawn at this year’s event will promote a healthy lifestyle for kids and families including everything from yoga, basketball, tennis, and other active games to cooking demonstrations and opportunities to learn about healthy eating.

This year’s Easter Egg Roll will also include something that hasn’t been done on the South Lawn before: the first-ever White House Fun Run.
