Life’s a Picnic…Or At Least July Is. Happy National Picnic Month!
There is something so fun about a picnic, even if it is just taking food outside. Planning a picnic excites people of all ages. So dig out the old wicker basket and the classic checkered table cloth, and head to the closest park or lake front to celebrate National Picnic Month!
Eating outside can be healthy, relaxing and easy! Check out these ideas and recipes for some of the Let’s Move! team’s favorite picnic menu items:

After you’ve finished eating, take advantage of being outdoors and engage the whole family in a game of Frisbee or a walk around the park. Find new ways to get active this summer by trying new sports like, kayaking, beach volleyball, or even rock climbing!
And if you really work up a sweat, treat yourself to a small ice cream or frozen novelty on the way home. After all, it is National Ice Cream month as well…
